Jordan Stern, M.D. is a New York Times Best-Selling author, and award winning Head and Neck surgeon and sleep specialist. He is the CEO and founder of BlueSleep, a digital healthcare company providing diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea through telemedicine and cutting edge technologies. "Sleep apnea is the disease of the century," says Dr. Stern, and poor sleep and undiagnosed sleep apnea account for an economic burden of over $400 billion a year to the US alone. The current medical establishment has failed to facilitate diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea, and BlueSleep is changing the way sleep apnea is diagnosed and treated by removing the roadblocks in the patient’s journey from poor sleep to better health.
Dr. Stern is a founding member of the Sleep Technology Council of the National Sleep Foundation. Over the past 25 years, he has held leadership positions in New York City Teaching Hospitals as director of head and neck surgery, and has published extensively in the medical and lay press on head and neck cancer and sleep disorders. He is also a frequent speaker at medical and digital healthcare conferences. Dr. Stern received an MD degree from George Washington University, and a BS from Columbia University. Dr. Stern is co-author of the New York Times and Amazon Best seller: "Dropping Acid: The Reflux Diet Cookbook and Cure" now in its 5th printing. He is also the producer of the Music for Dreams three volume music collection developed to help patients with sleep disorders obtain deeper and more restful sleep.
