Sleep disorders can be managed through a number of methods. Often weight loss, dietary changes and sleep hygiene precautions are all that are required. Oral dental appliances will often resolve mild to moderate sleep apnea. These can be custom fit remotely without the need for major dental intervention. Positive airway pressure devices are another non-invasive modality required for some to resolve sleep disorders such as central and complex sleep apnea. Rarely, minimally invasive surgical correction of the upper airway can be necessary to control severe disease.
